In March this year the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued guidelines - GUIDELINES &PROTOCOLS - Medico-legal care for survivors/victims of Sexual Violence.

Pls spread the word among all those you know in health care, since they are all mandated by law to provide medical assistance to any one who has been sexually assaulted. Otherwise they are liable for punishment .

Unfortunately a practice which is widely followed though banned by the Supreme Court of India is  the irrational, illogical and unethical  "two finger test"; we hope to see a decrease in this belittling test which is a human rights violation rapidly.
