World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse

Hello all!

Our apologies for not updating the blog for a long time. But we promise to be more active at this site from now on. Please also note that our address and telephone number has changed... the new contact is given above in the masthead.

Nov 19 is the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse. In our efforts to create some hoopla around the World Day, we organised a few activities in town and around on the day. Some of you might have come across hoardings on child abuse and our posters in the newspapers (in the New Indian Express and the Hindu), public awareness programme at Spencer's Plaza on Nov 18 and the film and documentory screenings (Everybody Says I'm Fine; The Children We Sacrifice; Colors Black) at Sathyam Cinemas and South Indian Film Chambers on Nov 19. We are eager to know your feedback and inputs on the campaign.

Here are some links to some of the media coverage of the issue as part of the campaign:

So long,
All of us at Tulir-CPHCSA
